Join Drs. Rajiv and Sangiv Patel as they take their dedication to service to new heights—literally. In February 2026, the brothers will embark on a demanding ascent of Cotopaxi, one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, standing 19,347 feet above sea level in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.
This expedition marks the launch of Climb for a Cause, a charitable initiative rooted in the principle of seva—service through body, mind, and wealth. Their journey across glacier-covered slopes and steep ice will raise $100,000 in support of five vital nonprofit organizations:
- The AAID Foundation – Advancing implant research, education, and the Smile, Veteran!™ program
- Rescue Outreach Mission – Providing shelter and resources for those experiencing homelessness
- Love Missions Global – Empowering survivors of human trafficking
- The Children’s Hunger Project – Fighting food insecurity among children
- Local Community Charities – Personally selected by the climbers to maximize local impact
